The library:
AA museum of preserved specimens established for the purpose of
identifi-cation and systemic classification of marine organisms that
occur along the Libyan shore and coastal areas of the Mediterranean
Sea. The mu¬seum holds marine plant and animal specimens that
include common, uncommon, commercial, exotic, and poisonous species.
Researchers, university students, amateur anglers, and fishermen are
among the many regular visitors of the museum.
