-The Libyan Journal of Marine Science. a scientific refereed journal. is an exten¬sion to the previous scientific periodical (Bulletin of the Marine Biology Research Centeri) 12 volumes had been released.
-Marine Horizons Bulletin. It is an informative bulletin and it is issued every two months aiming to spread the marine culture and education and highlighting the awareness and scientific activities of the center.

About MBRC

The Marine Biology Research Center was established in  September 1984, the Marine Fisheries Research Center merged with the Marine Biology Re­search Center (MBRC) of Tajura in or­der to unite and the capabilities the ex­pertise of both centers.
Since its establishment until now, the center had endeavoured to accomplish these goals.
